THE Grayrigg Young Farmers will be travelling down to Hull to perform in the finals of the northern area entertainment competition on Saturday.
The group will be competing against the best of the best of all the other northern counties' young farmers after going through tough competition at the district and county rounds.
Their performance this year is based on the theme 'through the decades.' The farmers start with a 1950s Grease Lightning dance and end with a compilation of music from the 1990s.
Producer and actress Lucy Gibson received the best actress award at both district and county levels.
Grayrigg Young Farmers chairman John Handley said: "Congratulations to the young farmers for qualifying for northern area entertainment's competition in Hull this Saturday.
"We will be against the best of the best of all the northern counties' young farmers in the finals."
