FOR its first production since the pandemic the Ingleton Theatre Group put on Hansel and Gretel.
The 'huge community effort' involved over 75 members for the 35th production. The first one was back in 1987 with Mother Goose and there was a production every year until 2020 with Camelot.
Liz Cartmell directed the production. Jake Tatham and Gill Denby played the titular characters.
Sue Haddrill, the Ingleton Theatre Group secretary said: "We’ve been working on the production since auditioning last September so it’s been super to get back together as a team once again.
"We now have over 75 members so you can tell it is a huge community effort. Each of the four nights the audience has left the building laughing and smiling having enjoyed the acting, comedy, singing and dancing, all woven into the lively script by our talented writer Sue Mosley, who is a member of the theatre group."
