HERE is a recap of this week's road works announcements affecting drivers in South Lakeland.
A590
According to National Highways network, from midnight, February 20 to midnight, March 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A590 eastbound and westbound, Greenodd Roundabout to Newby Bridge, traffic signals for average speed camera works.
M6
According to National Highways network, from 8pm January 14 to 6am February 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M6 northbound and southbound, junction 37, Lane closure and slip roads closures for bridge joint replacement.
B5284 Crook Road, near Kendal
From February 7 to February 20, a section of the B5284 near Crook will be closed whilst works are carried out, said Cumbria Road Watch.
The alternative route is via the unrestricted sections of the B5284, Kendal Road, Lake Road and the A591.
A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
