A KENDAL College artist will be putting on her first solo exhibition after graduating from her Art Foundation course.
Nik Hunter-Dale went to college as a mature student and wishes to 'aim to inspire and initiate thought-provoking conversation' through her visual art.
She works through a variety of mediums and wants to explore themes related to climate change, physical and mental health and wellbeing.
Her free exhibition is now running at The Gaddum Gallery at Brockhole Visitors Centre, Windermere, until March 26 2023.
Nik said: "The four main pieces on display target climate change and what one is willing to 'change' for a better future."
This includes using the Lakes Line trains to Windermere to 'get out into the beautiful countryside for good physical and mental wellbeing.'
She also wants to raise the issue of face masks littering nature after the pandemic and raises the question 'if you had no access to medicine, would you know what to forage for?'
The Gaddum Gallery is on the first floor of Brockhole house.
