FIRE crews were called after a blaze broke out at a house in Coniston.
Four fire engines from Cumbria Fire and Rescue attended the incident at a domestic property on Far End, at the northern end of the village, at 12.36 pm on Tuesday.
Crews in attendance had to use two hose roles and two sets of breathing apparatus.
Fire services were in attendance at the property for around an hour and fifteen minutes.
