A CREATIVE art and craft class for little ones is taking place in Kendal.

Mini Art Explorers is aimed to children between 2 and 6 years old and will occur from Tuesday January 17 to Tuesday March 28 from 11:15 am to 12:15 pm.

According to the Brewery Arts: "The class is a great opportunity to engage with your child, expand their imagination, develop new skills and experiment with lots of different materials and techniques."

The tutor Ciara Heaton will host the class on Brewery Arts Studio 3.

After studying Fine Art at university, Ciara left to pursue a career in community arts.

The artist moved to Cumbria where she started the outdoor lifestyle, inspiring her to study for a Painting degree, specialising in large abstract landscape pieces.

A parent or carer must accompany and supervise their child and we encourage all adults to get involved.

Attendees should bring their own apron or wear old clothes.

Materials will be provided.

The 10 week class costs £60.

The Bar & Restaurant at Brewery Arts is open for coffee and cake on Tuesdays between 11am-4pm.
