THE award-winning family food retailed will host a baker session.

Booths in Kendal will host artisan bakers and Real Bread Campaign Ambassadors Aidan Monks and Catherine Connor, as they share a little bread love in store while the bakery duo begin to gear up for Real Bread Week later in the month.

During the evening, there will be time to ask Aidan and Catherine for their insider baking hints and tips to help you craft delicious breads at home.

There will also be the chance to taste a selection of Lovingly Artisan's delicious products which are now on sale at the Kendal store.

During what promises to be an inspiring evening Aidan and Catherine will spend time explaining the benefits of 'Real Bread' nourishing not only our bodies but potentially our soils.

As well as chatting about 'sourdough', 'slow fermentation', 'ancient grains' and 'stoneground flours', they will also share some of their insider knowledge, chatting about the role of gluten in bread, the importance of gut health and the reasons why they are totally committed to baking with heritage grains.

After this enlightening evening attendants will leave with a goody bag to take home and enjoy for breakfast.

Lovingly Artisan have been recognised repeatedly for their skill and passion in the bread world for well over a decade.

In 2022 alone, they collected a raft of industry accolades, which saw them named as Artisan Producer of the Year in the Cumbria Life People's Choice Awards 2022, collect a baking industry 'Oscar' for their malted sourdough tin loaf at the Baking Industry Awards, no less than six World Bread Awards, and if that wasn’t enough, the UK’s Best Loaf at the Great British Food Awards in October for their small-but-perfectly-formed loaf 'Danish Rugbrød'.

The event takes place at 6pm on February 10.

Tickets are priced at £5 per person, with all proceeds going to Booths' chosen local charity North West Air Ambulance.
