BUSINESS people from around Cumbria competed in a festive quiz last week as part of the LA23NET networking group - and now you can try your hand at the brainteasers.

Scroll down for the questions!

The networking event was held at the Factory Tap pub in Kendal and was the latest unusual networking event to be organised by LA23NET, which is now being run by Carlisle PR firm, Intro.

The quiz featured rounds on trivia, film, festive songs and Christmas traditions and was eventually won by a team made up of Joan Lind from Trybooking, Grant Seaton from The Cumberland, Diane Billington from Carer Support South Lakes, Louise Phillips from the Bendrigg Trust and Harry Tonge, of Steven Abbott Associates.

John Haley, of Edwin Thompson - one of the sponsors of LA23NET, said: “A quiz followed by games of Kerplunk and Jenga might not sound like a networking event, but like all LA23NET events it’s a great way to meet business people informally and make new contacts while having a fun evening.”

Now you can try the quiz:
