A PORTUGUESE newspaper has reported today that relatives of a missing Sedbergh man have arrived in Madeira to join the search.
A search has been carried out in previous days for Darren Kay, a keen-fell runner in the Faja area, in Arco da Calheta.
The 52-year-old was last seen by his partner as he carried on with an afternoon run on Sunday afternoon, while the couple was on holiday.
Bad weather is reported to have hampered search efforts in some areas.
Today (Thursday), the PSP (Public Service Police) and the Calheta Volunteer Firefighters have continued to look for him.
The reports say that so far, there are no clues as to his whereabouts.
