CUMBRIAN TV personality Helen Skelton has made it to the finals of Strictly Come Dancing, with many in the county wishing her luck as she makes her claim for the glitter ball- including her former dance teacher.
Helen was part of the dance school in 2004 when she participated in dance teacher Andrea Stones adult freestyle dance class.
Sending a special message ahead of the final, Andrea Stones Stepping Stones School of Dance Appleby Cumbria said: "We just want to send Helen a good luck message for the final of Strictly Come Dancing.
"We have all been watching her journey here at Stepping Stones Dance School, Appleby and we are all so proud of you, we can't wait to watch on Saturday and we will all be on the edge of our seats and we are just so excited for you.
"I have got so many little dancers who are so inspired by you so thank you so much for inspiring them.
"Lot's and lots of luck, I know you put your heart and soul into everything you do so good luck Helen."
Saturday will be Helen's 14th week in the popular BBC show which she has credited for bringing her confidence back after divorce from ex-husband Richie Miller- with a sensational perfomance of the Argentine Tango to Here Comes The Rain Again by the Eurythmics.
The final will be taking place on Saturday December 17 at 7.05pm.
The show will last over two hours with the final ending at 9.35pm.
