A CARNFORTH garage has seen twenty years of service and has worked to give their customers a service to be proud of.

Carnforth Service & MOT Centre, located on Kellet Road is known in the area for its high quality and thorough service which has helped it earn a five-star rating online from its customers.

The garage is able to provide vehicle diagnostics, ample lifts and has a team of experienced professionals on hand. 

Owner Andy Morley said: “We’ve been here for twenty years now and I’ve lived in Carnforth all my life. Always lived in the area.

“There are three of us here together at the moment, we’ve got a good team here.

“Outside of work we enjoy racing and we have a lad who takes part in go karting. Liam has done division one racing for nine years now.

“We’ll be carrying that on for at least another year.

“We have people come to us from all over. We had a man who used to come up here every year to see his mother, and while he was here, he would always get his car checked or get his MOT.

“There are a lot of repeat customers. Some from the other side of the country. We’ve had people come from Warrington and people from the top of the country. A few people with caravans drop in to us sometimes.

“There are a lot of tourists who come to the area so they use our services as well.

“Our focus is giving people the service that we would want ourselves, you never know what can happen when you help someone you don’t know.

“We’re all sort of a family here. Liam is my son, and Adam has been here for a long time. We all know each other and we know our ways. Just want to help people.

“The garage itself has been here for around 30 years before we took it on. We don’t advertise so much so we go by word of mouth.”
