AN investigation into an incident of fly-tipping has been launched in Heversham.
South Lakes Police are looking into the incident after items were discarded on Woodhouse Lane in Heversham.
Items included sheets, cardboard, pieces of wood and discarded pieces of food.
SLDC said: "This fly-tipping on Woodhouse Lane, Heversham is under investigation by SLDC's Locality Team.
If you have any information which may help us identify the criminals who illegally dumped this rubbish, please email locality@southlakeland.gov.uk.
"Did you know you could be fined up to £400 and receive a criminal record if waste arising from work on your home or garden is fly-tipped and traced back to you, even though someone else has done it?"
