A KENDAL takeaway is asking for the support of the community after raising prices of its goods.
The Bakehouse, at Blackhall Yard, has announced price increases during a ‘rubbish period’.
It comes as the UK faces a cost of living crisis, seeing a worrying rise in costs of essential goods.
In a Facebook post The Bakehouse said: “Unfortunately, the time has come, and we have to put our prices up.
“As always, we will keep it to a minimum because we really don’t like doing it.
“Over the next few days our prices will change, and we ask you for your understanding and support.
“It’s crazy and very worrying what is going on right now, we do hope and believe that with your continued support we can get through this rubbish period and that brighter times are ahead.”
