A COMMUNITY theatre is looking for people to perform in its interpretation of A Christmas Carol.
Kendal Community Theatre is in partnership with Kendal Town Council and will present A Christmas Carol for Kendal from December 7 to 10 at Kendal Town Hall.
It has been adapted by co-directors Chris Taylor and Ginny Moss and relocated to Kendal and surrounding areas of Cumbria.
There will be dance, music and audience participation for everyone including schools, clubs, churches and all members of the community.
The show will offer a pay-what-you-can-afford performance and other extra concessions to families.
The theatre has places for more actors, dancers and musicians, and also stage crew and those who would like to try out stage management. Workshops and rehearsals will start in mid-September.
There are: speaking and non-speaking acting parts, buskers before the show and in the interval, and slots to publicise other pantos, concerts, or carol services.
