A KENDAL band will be bringing back the popular Krankenhaus Festival this month.
Alternative rock band Sea Power, also known as British Sea Power, will be returning to the stage at the Krankenhaus Festival, to be held between August 26 and 29 at Muncaster Castle.
The band comprises of Jan Wilkinson and his brother Neil, both vocals and guitarists, Martin Noble, guitarist, Matthew Wood, drums, Phil Sumner, keyboard and Abi Fri, viola.
Jan said: “It’s an alternative music festival. The Krankenhaus is a place you’ll enjoy if you are looking for alternative music.
“We cover a whole spectrum of music and we enjoy all types. You don’t get many festivals with that type of music so we put one together.
“Sea Power has been going for over twenty years and it’s been a great ride.
“We’ve done the festival once before in 2019 before the lockdown kicked in. It was fantastic but a lot of work went into it.
“We talked about it and thought we could do it again.”
