Grasmere's Lucia's Coffee and Bakehouse closed for a short time
A POPULAR Grasmere coffee shop will be closed for a brief period due to staff shortages.
Lucia's Coffee and Bakehouse, located at Broadgate House, will be shut until August 24.
The coffee shop wrote on social media: "We’re now closed until the 24th August as we’re off on holiday.
"Closing in the middle of August definitely wasn’t the ideal scenario but we’re still really short staffed so don’t have the option of opening while we’re away unfortunately.
"We’re really sorry to anyone that might have wanted to visit while we’re closed, but Felix will only be young once and we went to make the most of it.
"We’ll be back open in the little shop in time for the bank holiday weekend so see you then."
