SUMMER concerts are set to take place for Carer Support South Lakes.
Beginning on August 7, a summer concert is set to take place to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the respected organisation that has provided support for carers across the county.
The show will also be used to raise funds to help improve the lives of unpaid Carers of all ages.
Flookburgh Silver Band will be performing at the Outdoor summer Concert at English Lakes AeroClub Hanger, Cark Airfield, in Flookburgh on Sunday, 7 August from 5-8pm.
Carer Support South Lakes events, Campsign and Fundraising Manager, Marian Graveson said: “All funds raised on the day will go to support our work supporting unpaid Carers and we hope the family summer concert will also raise awareness of the support Carer Support South Lakes provide.
“We are looking forward to the family event and are asking people to bring their own picnic, refreshments, and something to sit on!
“There will also be an opportunity to enter our raffle to win a flight.”
Tickets are £5 on entry and under 16s free.
