Cumbria Police has warned that there is congestion around Eamont Bridge due to people travelling to Kendal Calling.
The festival, which kicks off today, is expected to see thousands gather for the weekend of music.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Today is the start of Kendal Calling 2022.
“Lots of people are travelling to the festival and there is congestion around Eamont Bridge, Kemplay Bank roundabout and the surrounding areas.
“Traffic is currently moving, but slowly.
“Please plan your journey accordingly and allow extra time to come through Penrith and the surrounding areas.
“Please drive carefully and if you are heading to the festival, we hope you have a great time.”
