A STEAM train was in danger of exploding due to a lack of water when it was in Bentham Railway Station.
A train engineer managed to find a hydrant near the station, which save the train.
Firefighters at Bentham were called out at 10.17am on Tuesday to provide 1,000 gallons of water to the engine which was overheating in the station.
The firefighters were stood down once they were told that the train engineer found a hydrant.
The engine then left after her tanks were filled.
The Bentham line is often used for historic tours.
