Milnthorpe Corinthians AFC have welcomed the arrival of their new first team manager Shaun Gardner.

The club announced the arrival of Shaun who has enjoyed an extensive career in the profession, and he will be joined by Gary Thompson.

Shaun is a qualified UEFA B coach and has played over 300 semi professional games over a career that has seen him play for AFC Liverpool, Kendal Town and Penrith AFC, where he was also assistant manager.

Gary Thompson is a UEFA B qualified and is currently working towards his UEFA A licence.

He has appeared in 700 senior matches for Scunthorpe, Bradford, Notts County, Wycombe Wanderers and Morecambe FC.

He also played at Wembley on five occasions in the League Cup and Play Off Finals.
