A Kendal climate activist has been refused bail ahead of a pre-trial hearing after she and two other Kendal women defied a High Court injunction by continuing to protest outside an oil terminal.
Gwen Harrison, a supporter of the campaign group Just Stop Oil, has been remanded in custody by Warwickshire police after trespassing at Kingsbury Oil Terminal in Warwickshire.

She is alleged to have scaled a fuel gantry, and according to the court register: "once on top of the pipe, glued/locked yourself in position, which you intended to have the effect of obstructing or disrupting that activity."
The register states that she will be remanded in custody until the hearing at Birmingham and Solihull Magistrates' Court on May 31 because of the "nature and seriousness of the offence, offended on bail, previous record, and character."
