A POPULAR pub has found great success after launching its new food service after collaborating with their new high-class chefs.
The Old School Brewery, located on Holly Bank on Crag Road in Warton, has used its outside area to serve a variety of meals and dishes to customers.
The pub is working with chefs Daz and Nicky who had previously worked at the popular Nikti Bistro in Milnthorpe.
The meals include burgers, salads, and fries, as well as a collection of vegan and vegetarian options.
Since launching the food service the pub has been met with a lot of positive feedback from customers.
Ben Jennings of OSB said: “We’re trying to keep it very ‘old school’ with our service. We like to do simple finger food for people.
“We’ve got a big variety going on despite it being simple. We serve salads, hot dogs, nachos, loaded fries and burgers.
“We want to fill people up when they have their pint.
“When people eat, they stick around longer, they get cosy and stay with us longer when they are comfortable.
“We have two very experienced chefs with us who have worked in a lot of venues, and previously worked at Milnthorpe’s Nikita’s Bistro.
“They’ve got a lot of experience and we are using them to their full capability.
“Right now, the salad, avocado and flat breads are very popular, as well as the chicken tikka.
“There are also a lot of vegan and vegetarian options.
“Our customers have been giving us some great feedback and comments which we’re really happy about. We always welcome more people to come and try our food and let us know where I can improve.”
