A MAN was arrested after 'squaring up' to an officer on board a train to Lancaster.
British Transport Police arrested a man in Arnside after he was 'threatening' to a Revenue Protection Officer on a train.
Officers located the man in a pub in Arnside and, after refusing to give his name and address, they arrested him.
He has since been released under investigation whilst enquiries are ongoing.
A spokesman for BTP Lancs said: "A male was threatening and squared up to a Revenue Protection Officer on a train heading to Lancaster.
"Suspect alighted at Arnside. Our officers located him in a pub there. He refused to give his name and address and was arrested. Released under investigation as enquiries ongoing."
