KENDAL’S Heron Hill Primary School kids are joining with the creative team at local arts charity Kendal Windows on Art took part in a ‘Leaning on the Landscape’ community art project.
The children aged 8-11 years, reflected on how walking with their families helped them cope during the Covid-19 lockdowns and restrictions.
They turned these family memories of being outside together into thoughtful words for a series of largescale waterproof banner artworks - a huge task but the children really enjoyed this creative challenge!
Low Sizergh Barn kindly offered to exhibit the children’s creative work on their Farm Trail, enabling wider audiences to engage with the project.
The display was opened last weekend and was part of the KWoA 'Leaning on the Landscape' community project which recorded how walking with their families helped the children to cope through lockdowns and Covid restrictions.
