Firefighters treated a casualty after a fire at a house in Sedbergh.
At 1:38am this morning (May 5) two fire engines attended the fire in Maryfell, Sedbergh.
The incident involved a small fire on the ground floor of a domestic property.
According to Cumbria County Council, firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and a hammer to extinguish the fire.
Firefighters used oxygen therapy and first aid to treat the casualty.
Crews were detained for approximately one hour.
