LAST year saw thousands of people come together to raise money to help support the important work of their chosen charities.
The May event last year was postponed due to Covid and was moved to September. It was the first time the event took place since the pandemic began.
Walkers and runners set off from Keswick and Coniston at the crack of dawn and finished at Hawcoat Park Sports Club, Barrow.
The first man to finish the Keswick to Barrow was Joshua Crowther of HMS Anson with a time of four hours, 45 minutes and 55 seconds.
The first woman was Sarah Jones of Barrow, who completed her run in five hours, 34 minutes and 36 seconds.
While the first man to finish the Coniston to Barrow was Shaun Jones, from Askam, with a time of two hours, 26 minutes and 16 seconds and the first woman was Margaret Murphy, from Barrow, with a time of two hours 47 minutes and 57 seconds.
And the winning team was HMS Anson who received the Resolution trophy.
