Hornby Day Nursery

We are registered with Ofsted for a maximum of 60 children which includes up to 12 babies, and 16 two year olds.

Providing a stimulating environment is important so children can go home having had a great day, we hope this will give you an idea of the many things that can happen during a typical day:

  1. Outdoor games and activities.
  2. Indoor play with jigsaws, wooden toys and action toys.
  3. Creative play with puppets, painting, music and modelling.
  4. Resting and Quiet time for in all rooms. 
  5. Lunchtime with favourites such as corned beef hash and every childs favourite sausage, chips and beans followed by sponge and custard.
  6. Socialising time for kids to play and talk together.
  7. Playtime and talk time between staff and children.
  8. Trip time such as visits to the park and woodlands.
  9. IT time with interactive learning programmes.
