Police are investigating a number of thefts from vehicles in Tebay and Brough.
Officers received reports of four thefts – and potentially some further attempted thefts.
According to Cumbria Police, vehicles were targeted in Church Rise in Tebay and Lady Anne Drive, Brough.
The thefts are believed to have taken place in the early hours of April 2. Items stolen included a purse, a gas bottle and tools.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Officers would like to appeal for anyone who saw anything suspicious or has any CCTV footage which might cover the incidents to come forward.
