POLICE have appealed for witnesses after properties were broken into in Leasgill and Heversham.
Cumbria Police is investigating after properties in the villages were broken into at the weekend.
According to officers, the break-ins occurred on Saturday, March 12 between 6:30pm and 7:30pm.
Cars and property were stolen, according to police.
The force has appealed for witnesses who may have been in the area during this time to come forward with any information.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Police are appealing for witnesses who may have been in the area during these times to report any suspicious activity they have witnessed that may be connected.”
