RESCUE: The woman got her foot trapped in lime pavement
THE Cave Rescue Organisation was called out after a woman got her foot trapped after falling on lime pavement.
The 41-year-old fell on limestone pavement at Scar Close, Chapel-le-Dale, subsequently trapping her foot so that she was unable to move and she soon became very cold.
According to the organisation it was not possible to use PhoneFind or speak to her, but, as CRO members arrived at the incident -on February 24- in the immediate area, police officers had already found her.
She was provided with a heated waistcoat and a Blizzard emergency jacket and a team Land Rover then took her to have a warm drink and regain warmth.
