Kendal Rotary Club and 1st Kendal Scout Group joined forces with the Bendrigg Trust to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with a day of tree planting.
The project was funded by Kendal Rotary with a matching grant from Rotary International and has been recognised by the Queen's Green Canopy Tree Planting Initiative."
The Bendrigg Trust provides fully accessible, all-inclusive activity breaks for schools, groups, families and adults with disabilities and special needs.
A group spokesperson said: "We are so grateful to the Kendal Rotary and Scouts for supporting us with this fantastic project!
"Their continued support makes a huge difference to our work here at Bendrigg and our new trees will be enjoyed by our many visitors (and wildlife!) for years to come.
