TRAINS currently cannot run between Oxenholme and Penrith because a tree has fallen onto the tracks.
A spokesman for Network Rail Lancashire and Cumbria added that the tree has also hit overhead lines due to the strong wind.
Network Rail engineers are working to get it fixed ‘as soon as possible’.
