A CUMBRIAN forest has been named as one of the UK's great sculpture trails.
Grizedale Forest was featured in The Observer magazine as one of the 10 greatest UK sculpture trails.
The sculpture forest was listed as number three beating places like Devon, Wiltshire and Dorset.
Grizedale hosts the UK's first forest sculpture trail where artists have been showcasing their work across the woodland since 1977.
The sculptures across the 10 square miles of woodland feature wood figures, to standing stone and seating.
Many of the sculptures featured across the park use rocks, plants and trees from the forest itself.
Due tp Storm Arwen, some areas of the park are still closed to visitors so it would be a good idea to ring up and check before visiting.
