POLICE have launched an investigation after cars were damaged in Kirkby Stephen.

Cumbria Police is appealing for witnesses following the damage to a number of parked cars in South Road, which occurred sometime overnight between Monday, January 24 and Tuesday January 25.

A force spokesman said: “Officers are appealing for anyone who may have seen or heard something suspicious in the area at the time.
