GENEROUS charity supporters have been thanked for raising an incredible sum of money.
More than £9,000 was raised by supporters of CancerCare North Lancashire and South Cumbria in just the space of a week during their first-ever Big Give Christmas Challenge.
An incredible £9,362 was raised in just seven days. The funds will make a huge difference to people in the community facing cancer or bereavement this Christmas,
CancerCare Fundraiser Anna Webster said: “We have been blown away by the generosity and support during our Big Give Christmas Challenge week. It means so much. Right now, CancerCare is receiving more calls for help than ever before, but these donations will make sure our therapy team can be on hand to answer every call not just at Christmas, but into the New Year too.”
