Lorries on the road
A LORRY driver accused of using a mobile phone behind the wheel is due to stand trial.
James Grix is alleged to have used the device while driving Scania Wagon on the A590 at Ulverston on February 21.
The 24-year-old, of Whalton in Morpeth, Northumberland, has previously denied the offence and is to face trial at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court this afternoon.
