A DEBUT festival celebrating whisky gets under way today.
The inaugural Kendal Whisky Festival is taking place at the town hall.
Tickets for today are still available, although tomorrow is now sold out.
Visitors can book themselves onto masterclasses, meet distillers and purchase a wide range of whiskies.
Tickets can be booked here. The event begins at 6pm today.
