CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) has published the 2022 edition of the Good Beer Guide.
Each pub on the list has been visited by volunteers who taste the beers to decide if it should go on the list.
The Guide surveys 4500 pubs across the UK and it is considered the best guide to beer. Analysing the very best pints in the most picturesque and friendly pubs, if beer drinkers need advice the Good Beer Guide is where to turn.
This year, five Kendal pubs have made the list.
Barrel House
Where is it: Castle Mills, Units 8-16, Aynam Rd, Kendal LA9 7DE
Barrel House in Kendal is one of five to make it onto the Good Beer Guide for 2022. The review praises the 12 cask and keg beers on offer.
The Barrel House is dog friendly.
Factory Tap
Where is it: 5 Aynam Rd, Kendal LA9 7DE
A dog friendly bar, the Factory Tap is praised for its "enthusiastic" options of beer.
Fell Bar
Where is it: 3 Lowther St, Kendal LA9 4DH
Another dog friendly bar in Kent, the Fell Bar also made it onto this year’s list. The guide cites the bar’s modern feel and great guest beers.
Indie Craft Beer
Where is it: 32 Finkle St, Kendal LA9 4AB
Described by the guide as a "craft haven", Indie Craft Beer is the place to go for great beer and great vibes.
New Union
Where is it: 32 Finkle St, Kendal LA9 4AB
Bring your dog with you when you head for a beer at New Union. Despite being famous for its ciders, the guide praises its great selection of beers on offer.
