Wordsworth Grasmere
The popular tourism attraction has announced that its cafe and some of its grounds will be closed due to the weather.
Wordsworth Grasmere said: "We're open.
"Your visit might look a little different today. Our Café is closed, as well as parts of our gardens.
"If you are in Grasmere and looking for something fun to do, we have plenty: Minecraft, games and dressing-up for families, and our new exhibition is open too."
Baldry's Grasmere
The Grasmere tea room wrote on social media: "Little bit wet out there isn’t it?
"Unfortunately due to the heavy rainfall over the past 24 hours, main roads have become impassable and for the safety of staff and customers we’ll be closing for today.
"Fingers crossed we’ll be back to it tomorrow."

A SUCCESSFUL Cumbrian business is closed today due to flooding around the premises.
The Hawkshead Relish Company announced it would close its shop for today due to the weather.
The business wrote on social media: "Due to bad weather and flooding our shop will be closed today.
"Stay safe everyone."
Beer Ambleside
The business wrote on social media: "Good morning. We are closed today.
"Our staff are finding it difficult to get into work due to the weather.
"We will check again a bit later on to see if things improve.

The National Trust property has announced on social media that it will be closed for today.
The National Trust wrote on social media: "WRAY CASTLE CLOSED - 28 OCTOBER.
"Due to the continuing adverse weather conditions and with further flood alerts expected Wray Castle will be closed today to ensure the safety of our teams."
Biketreks Grizedale
BG wrote on social media: "Biketreks Grizedale will be CLOSED Thursday 28/10.
"Due to the persistent rain over the past 24 hours the roads to Grizedale are currently full of flood water.
"With the forecast set for more rain in the foreseeable we have taken the decision to close tomorrow for the safety of staff and customers.
"Hopefully we will be back open for all things bikes on Friday.
"Stay safe out there."
Fell Foot Cafe
Fell Foot NT wrote on social media: "Unfortunately, due to the persistent heavy rain, the cafe at Fell Foot has flooded and will be closed for the next few days.
"The rest of the park, including the Active Base is open as usual. We'll keep this page updated as the weather progresses."
