Police have launched an investigation after tyres on a police vehicle were damaged.

Eden Police are appealing for witnesses after three tyres were damaged on a police car parked outside Kirkby Stephen Police Station.

Officers believe the incident occurred sometime overnight between Sunday, October 10 and Monday, October 11.

A force spokesman said: “Anyone with information relating to this incident can report online at www.cumbria.police.uk/reportit , quoting incident number 196 of 11th October.
