THE food hygiene rating of a Lake District pub has been revealed.
The Outgate Inn, which belongs to pub chain and brewery Robinsons, scored three out of five in the inspection carried out on June 11 of this year.
The site, situated along the B5286 between Hawkshead and Ambleside, was deemed to be 'generally satisfactory' in all three inspection areas, which were:
- Hygienic food handling
- Cleanliness and condition of facilities and building
- Management of food safety
