Where have you been camping in the Lake District? Which of these spots in Windermere, Ulverston, Ambleside and Millom have you tried?
1. Coniston Hall campsite
A popular Lake District campsite on the shore of Coniston Water. The Coniston Hall Campsite is an open field site and situated on the Western Shore of Coniston.

2. Windermere Camping and Caravanning Club Site
A Windermere camp site situated by the water which offers spaces for caravans and campers. With incredible views this is one to try out this summer for a weekend of camping.

3. Ravenglass Camp site
The large and spacious camp at Ravenglass has become a very popular location for tourists and holiday makers in the area.
With a mature of woodland and open field the ground can offer space for campers and up to 70 caravans.

4. Baystone Bank Farm
Millom’s five-star rated campsite that has acquired dozens of positive reviews online is a must for anyone travelling to Cumbria this year to catch the weather.
James Matthews said: “Baystone farm is where we went last time. Great place.”
5. Harbour Lights
A dog friendly and popular Lake District National Park camp site that is welcoming to tents, tourers, motorhomes and camper vans.
The site also includes a home built heated camping pod where guests can relax.

6. Park Cliffe site
Another Windermere campsite that is worth considering the next time you venture out on the weekend in the Lake District.
Set in 25 acres of countryside, the site offers camping pods and static holiday caravans for that can be hired out.
Andrew Fowl said: Park Cliffe campsite is a lovely spot."
7. Grizedale
An Ulverston camping farm that offers a wide-open space to set up camp.
The area offers some incredible walks that many hikers and walkers will find very appealing.
Dennis Towns said: "Grizedale is the best I think."
8. Low Wray
Ambleside's very popular camping spot that offers space for tents but also includes rentable huts and cabins.
Leah Saygar said: "Low Wray is my favourite place."
9. Langdale
Great Langdale's campsite offers some incredible views of the valley and is in walking distance of three outstanding pubs, and a selection of incredible walks. A bus service also runs nearby to Ambleside.

10. Abbott Park
