IT was an impressive turn out at parkrun events across South Cumbria.
697 runners attacked the 5k long courses in Barrow, Ulverston, Millom, Rothay and Fell Foot in their second week since the parkrun events made a return.
An impressive amount of records were set in each location during the weekly event which takes place on Saturday mornings.
Barrow parkrun saw 148 people taking to the course, with 11 new personal bests set - 7.4 per cent of runners.
First to cross the finish line was Sean Roberts in 18 minutes and 49 seconds, in second place was Callum Bond with a new personal best of 19 minutes and 15 seconds, and in third place was Georgia Bell in 19 minutes and 51 seconds.
Ford parkrun had a turnout of 79 runners, with 21 runners beating their personal bests - an impressive 26.5 per cent of participants.
First to finish was Terence Spooner in 19 minutes and eight seconds, in second place was Owain Clark in 19 minutes and 55 seconds, and in third place was Doug Nesbit in 20 minutes and four seconds.
Over at Millom Parkrun, 54 runners took on the 5km course, with 19 reaching new personal bests - meaning 35.2 per cent of runners reached the impressive achievement.
Taking first place was Simon Chapman in 19 minutes and nine seconds, in second place was John Rodgers in 20 minutes and four seconds and in third place was Oliver Taylor in 20 minutes and 17 seconds.
Rothay Park Parkrun saw 7.7 per cent of runners reach a new personal best, with 9 out of 117 participants reaching the goal.
First over the finish line was Liam Harrold in 17 minutes and 26 seconds, in second place was Charlie Batho in 18 minutes and 43 seconds, and taking third place was William Laye in 19 minutes and 19 seconds.
Over at Fell Foot Parkrun, a huge crowd of 299 runners took to the course, with 30 achieving new personal bests - a total of 10 per cent.
Taking first place was Tom Chandler in 17 minutes and three seconds, in second place was Richard Bravington in 17 minutes and 32 seconds and taking third place was Tom Williams in 18 minutes and six seconds.
All parkrun organisers thanked the volunteers who make the weekly Saturday events possible.
