A BRITISH Indie band will be hitting the stage of a Kendal venue this summer.
The Rifles will be heading to The Brewery Arts Centre on July 17.
The British Indie outfit rose to popularity in the mid-2000s with their swaggering, jaunty garage rock and roll sound.
The band first found public success with their 2005 hit ‘Local Boy’, and later in the UK’s indie charts with their first two albums reaching the number two spot in 2009.
Returning to an acoustic format, in 2017 they set themselves up in the legendary Abbey Road studio in London to record The Rifles Unplugged Album.
The band currently consists of Joel Stoker, Lucas Crowther, Rob Pyne, Grant Marsh and Dean Mumford.
Those wishing to attend should use the hand sanitiser available on arrival, maintain social distance and wear a face covering when moving throughout the building or seated in the venue, unless eating or drinking.
