Netherfield are just four points behind Division One leaders Longridge after picking up an impressive 69-run victory at Chorley last Saturday.
Shrikant Mundhe's first innings knock of 115 and contributions of 28 by Oli Wileman and 25 from Finlay Richardson posted an imposing total of 206-8, before key contributions from Netherfield’s bowlers saw Chorley all out in their reply for 137 off 44.4 overs.
Netherfield, who won the toss and elected to bat at Chorley's Windsor Park, made a slow start after losing the wickets of Ben Barrow and Richie Forsyth (LBW) with Louis Johnson taking the wicket of Barrow when he was caught by Siddesh Lad.
Chorley continued to apply pressure after Samuel Steeple picked up the wickets of both Josh Dixon and Brad Earl.
However, Mundhe and Richardson steadied Netherfield’s innings with a strong partnership as the field gained control.
Richardson eventually departed for 28 after he fell to Lad, and while Gaurav Dhar dismissed both James Bowman and Isaac Medhurst.
Mundhe's knock of 115 saw Netherfield remain in control of the innings.
Mundhe's innings came to an end after he fell to Dhar, before a crucial undefeated knock of 28 by Wileman as well as Samuel Medhurst's undefeated 10 saw Netherfield close on 206-8 off 50 overs.
In reply, Netherfield dominated the hosts after Isaac Medhurst returned figures of 3-18.
He took the wickets of Andrew Holdsworth,Alfie Dobson and the prize wicket of Lad, who was caught by Bowman.
Netherfield continued to rip through the home team, with Matt Jackson, Samuel Medhurst and Wileman taking two wickets apiece.
Jackson who opened the bowling finished with figures of 2-27, after he trapped Louis Johnson LBW before taking the wicket of Dhar who picked out Mundhe in the field.
Samuel Medhurst, who recently returned from injury, saw off both Ben Simpkins and James Lee, while Wileman claimed the wickets of Harry Barclay and Joseph Tiffin.
Forsyth also impressed, seeing off Wil Moulton who was Chorley's top scorer with 26, as Netherfield bowled out Chorley for 137 off 44.4 overs.
Netherfield next face Morecambe at Parkside Road on Saturday.
