Cumbria Police has warned motorists to use another route after a burst water pipeis causing delays on Red Bank Road, Grasmere.
The force reported that the water board and highways agency are on scene fixing the issue.
A spokesman said: “Warning to motorists using the Red Bank road, Grasmere, Ambleside of traffic delays due to a burst water pipe.
“The water board and highways agency are currently on scene trying to fix the issue.
“Motorists are advised to use another route or avoid the area if possible.”
