EVENT organisers responsible for a popular Christmas parade have announced when it will take place this year.
Bowness and Windermere Christmas parade is set to go ahead on December 4, according to a statement from organisers last night.
The statement said: “We have had a meeting this evening to discuss this coming year's event and a date has been set for Saturday 4th December.
“We will endeavour to make the event as magical as it is every year but we will have to adhere to any rules which may be relevant to a public gathering when the time comes.
“So fingers crossed for a super special Christmas this year to make up got the one we missed and we hope it will be the start of a great festive season.”
