Piers Morgan, the former Good Morning Britain presenter, has decided to leave the show for good.
The presenter stormed off the set of the news programme on Tuesday (9 March) following a heated discussion with his colleague, Alex Beresford, about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s TV interview with Oprah Winfrey.
A statement from ITV said: “Following discussions with ITV, Piers Morgan has decided now is the time to leave Good Morning Britain.
“ITV has accepted this decision and has nothing further to add.”

Morgan added the hashtag #TrustYourGut.

“But they must be ready for someone who is not afraid to speak out and calls a spade a spade not a metal device to dig a hole to avoid upsetting anyone.”
John Dodds said: “Donald Trump, obviously”.
Bruce A Dennison thinks Jeremy Corbyn would be an ideal replacement.
Charles Wood said: “I don’t watch TV but I say… Brian Blessed.”
