AN ASPIRING actress has featured in her first main television role.

Hannah Griffiths, from Windermere, can be spotted in the latest advert from milk alternative company, Oatly.

The 19-year-old is a performing arts alumni and current film student at Kendal College.

Miss Griffiths began acting from the age of thirteen and attended regular acting classes across the North West before studying her passion at Kendal College.

She has also appeared as an extra in Coronation Street.

"Last year I managed to sign with a really really good agency from Manchester," she said.

"I got the audition from them.

"The first audition was in November and I think there were four rounds.

"I got the call from my agent when I was at college saying they wanted me in London at the beginning of December.

"It was amazing and seeing it on TV now."

Miss Griffiths is hoping to attend a drama school next year and eventually would like to work in film.

"Working in film is a massive goal for me," she said.

"Whether that's me acting in a main role or directing it would e a dream for me."
