OFFICERS are asking for help to track a man who was hit by a car and walked off from the scene.
The collision involved a silver Vauxhall Corsa and a pedestrian on Thursday night (December 31).
It happened between 6pm and 6.15pm on the junction of King Street and Old London Road, Penrith.
The pedestrian got up and walked off without providing details.
A search was conducted by police but the pedestrian was not found.
Officers are appealing directly to the pedestrian to contact officers so they can check on his welfare.
Police are also appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
The pedestrian was described as a white man, aged about 50, wearing a dark open coat and a clear Covid-19 visor.
